IronLane Features

Combined Barcode and RFID Stocktaking

We understand that RFID may not be suitable for all products in a retailer’s mix. By combining barcode and RFID scanning in the same stocktaking application IronLane provides flexibility to stocktake products in the most practical way. Once scanned, the results are combined and integrated into the same reconciliation and adjustment workflow. This also offers a smooth path for RFID adoption, by selectively enabling RIFD for certain product categories and then expanding to other categories at a pace that suits the operation.

Tablet Friendly Dashboards

When it comes to inventory, being able to access information via tablets and handheld devices is very useful, as you can identify and fix issues on the spot. IronLane includes a number of handheld device applications and a Location Portal with tablet friendly screens and dashboards.

Integrated Reconciliation & Adjustment Workflows

Once the products are scanned and reconciled on location the results are instantly available via the Admin Portal. Stocktakes from multiple locations are accessible from the same dashboard where they can be reviewed and approved for adjustment. IronLane calculates and records stocktake results and accuracy metrics upon completion of every stocktake.

RFID Scanner Mobility

RIFD scanning devices can be moved between locations, making it easy to relocate, pool or share devices where required.

WiFi Resilience

We have made transitioning to and from WiFi covered areas seamless while stocktaking. Product scans accumulate on the device while stocktaking in areas outside WiFi coverage and automatically synchronise when the device connects again to the WiFi.

Direct Device Integration

Ironlane is designed for live collaboration. It enables office computers, tablets, handheld RIFD scanning devices and RFID printers to connect directly through its cloud platform in real-time. If your systems are still relying on manual file transfers and needing to dock devices to synchronise data, you will be amazed with how easily IronLane connects devices and synchronises data to make live information accessible from anywhere.

RFID Printing

IronLane’s versatile RFID printing architecture is cloud-based and therefore available over the internet, thus enabling stores, suppliers, warehouses and logistics providers to print RFID labels wherever they are located.

Role-based Functionality

IronLane automatically adapts the information and functionality to each user’s needs. Whilst some users require access to information across all locations, others may only need to access information for a particular location or a selected group of locations. It also distinguishes between operational and management roles enabling efficient workflows and interactive dashboards which are custom tailored for the task at hand.

Products with Multiple Barcodes

IronLane allows products to be setup with multiple barcodes, which is a convenient feature if you are sourcing similar products from different vendors.

Active Inventory Data Healthchecks

IronLane actively scans inventory data as it is uploaded to help detect and fix common errors early, to limit their impact on inventory productivity and business performance.

Accuracy Metrics

Inventory accuracy metrics by location give everyone a clear understanding of the issues at hand. IronLane calculates and records inventory accuracy metrics at completion of each stocktake.
